We know that "North Orange County" can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Basically, we go as far South as Irvine and Newport Beach, and as far north as Yorba Linda. There is a lot of work to do in that space!
We'll give you a quick rundown of our favorite spots in this place that we call home!
Something that we love so much about North Orange County is the fact that so many of the notable attractions are both indoors and outdoors. In this beautiful area of California that we live in, where we're a hop from the beach, a skip from the snow and a jump from the desert, we want to be outside enjoying all of that. And the weather just can't be beat!
We've spent countless weekends at Irvine Spectrum Center with our families. This is hands down one of the most beautiful outdoor shopping centers that you'll find anywhere in the country, let alone in Southern California. How many shopping malls boast both a carousel and a full size ferris wheel? If you know of some, please let us know, but we haven't found them yet. This is a great place to spend the day with both adults and children. The live music on the weekends is great to enjoy right on the lawn with the beautiful views.
But since we're experts in our field (and not to mention total nerds) we can't help but think about all the tons and tons of asphalt that went into all of the parking lots and roadways around the center. And we're ready and waiting to refresh that asphalt any time!
What are your favorite places in North Orange County? We're always looking for new places to try and there's so much to see. When we're not hard at work on our asphalt projects, we love spending the down time somewhere nice with our loved ones.
The Bowers Museum might just be the most famous museum in Santa Ana. It includes tens of thousands of objects from paintings to sculptures to pottery. This is a great place to spend a day with the family. And the grounds of the museum are so beautiful, there are plenty of opportunities for photos throughout the day.
Do we need to say anything else? It's hard to believe that this park opened in the middle of the year of 1955. Throughout the 30s and 40s, Walt Disney visited a bunch of amusement parks with his daughters, and came up with a concept of one that would blow them all out of the water. Needless to say, he succeeded. In 1953, he bought a 160-acre site near Anaheim and the rest is history.
Us OC natives often forget that South Coast Plaza is the iconic shopping center that it really is. It's the largest shopping center on the West Coast of the country and the 4th largest in the United States of America. Tens of millions of shoppers visit SCP on an annual basis, making it one of the top performing shopping centers in the country. It's a fun place for families, but a dangerous place for credit cards.
Our community in Santa Ana, CA is what motivates us to continue to do our best day in and day out. When your families live in the same place that you work, something about that really lights a fire under you. We'll keep striving to do our best to beautify our beautiful area in North Orange County to keep all of our loved ones safe. If you'd like us to be a part of that, give us a call!
